Occasional Cuppa

Once in a great while, I condsider myself an artist or a photographer. Luckily it rarely lasts long and I try not to make a habit of foisting my amateur efforts on people too polite to run away.

But here, well, you opened the door. As with much of this site, specific images and texts relate back to food and tea, both of which are my personal zen, both in the preperation and the partaking, so, feel free to join me in a cup. (Not about linkage: there is no ad revenue or advantage to me via these links. I recommend what I like, and since I ecnourage people to try, I try and make it easy for you. )

Foe Killer Creek: the bare bones of the naming of this creek can be found on the internet. These were taking at roughly 8 a.m.. before the mists had entirely lifted. Right click and view image to see full picture

Tea of preference for this: Numi Organic Teas - Dry Desert Lime, sharp and smoky

People were born and died here: or so one would assume. I have a love and empathy (as much as one can have for a structure) for abandoned places. Although in this case, one owonders how abandoned, because the grass is kept cut and the bushes trimmed.
The second house is just across the gravel road.

Tea of prreference for this: Something nostalgic and comforting, Yogi Teas  - Body Tea, Lemon Ginger. Soothing spice with a familiar aroma

The storms of August: A drive home along a heavily congested interstate. This is inland and no tornado warnings were issued, just a late summer thunderstom in the deep south.

Tea of preference for this: Rishi Organic Masala Chai (Fair Trade) Which really, is my default for anything. Rch layered, surprising flavors, but smooth, even after the bit of ginger and cardamon.

Looks like a teapot. Or a chicken.

The small white flare is the flash. The brighter flare is probably a UFO.
