About Me
quite possibly old enough to be your mother. In 2008 I was first diagnosed with skin cancer, which I had removed with outpatient surgery. It took the month of July to get it all. The week I finished that joyful exploration of modern medical science I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That was also removed at the end of September -- just in case you wondered how I spent my summer vacation. It runs strongly in my family, in both females and males. It killed my mother and a male cousin. I don't think it's done with me yet, but so far, I'm kicking its ass.
